Elizabeth Rast

Elizabeth Rast has been an associate at The Bleecker Law Firm since March of 2017. She has been in private practice since 2006, with the exception of one year serving as a staff attorney for the South Carolina Department of Social Services in the area of abuse and neglect. Elizabeth attended Wofford College as an Anna Todd Wofford Scholar and Merit Scholarship recipient, graduating in 2003 with a B.S. in Biology, summa cum laude, with emphasis in pre-medicine and being inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. While at Wofford, Elizabeth was a member of the tennis team, an officer in various student organizations, and served as a genetics and chemistry peer tutor. Elizabeth received a Merit Scholarship to attend the University of South Carolina School of Law and graduated cum laude in May of 2006, receiving the honor of Order of Wig and Robe and three CALI awards. While in law school, she served as an officer in student organizations and was a peer tutor and research assistant in the area of Contracts. Elizabeth is an active member of USTA League Tennis in the Charleston area and a volunteer on the Island Turtle Team. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends, being outdoors, entertaining her niece and nephews, live music, and frequent travel to St. John, USVI.
